Behind the Design of Eli Nicolosi and the New Sassy Mac Boys Rockford CherryVale Mall Location
Every business has a story, and one of my favorite parts of being a creative director is helping tell that story through branding, websites, marketing, and design.
Over the past several months, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Donald Czyzyk and the Sassy Mac Boys team. They are prepared to open their newest location inside CherryVale Mall in Rockford, Illinois.
Most guests will notice the macaroni and cheese, colorful branding, and welcoming atmosphere. A tremendous amount of work takes place behind the scenes before a new location opens.
Our collaboration included website updates, illustration, menu design, digital men
u boards, promotional materials, and more. The goal was simple: create a consistent brand experience while allowing the personality of Sassy Mac Boys to shine through.
One of the things I enjoy most about projects like this is working directly with local business owners who are passionate about serving the community. Donald’s enthusiasm for his customers made this an enjoyable project from start to finish.
As someone who has spent more than 25 years helping businesses throughout Northern Illinois build their brands, it’s rewarding to see another local company continue to grow.
Congratulations to Donald and the entire Sassy Mac Boys team on the opening of their new CherryVale Mall location. I’m grateful to have played a small role in another exciting chapter for a locally owned business.
